PHA content in P. putida KT2440 and KT2442 cultivated on citrate, gluconate, and octanoate. The PHA contents correspond to samples taken at the end of the growth experiments (last OD600 measurement in Figure 1). The relative weight amount of PHA in freeze-dried biomass was determined by gas chromatography. The error bars represent the standard deviation of PHA content from 2-4 independent experiments.
